She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, with skill in German and Russian.  Her Italian is clear and she has a northern Italian accent, from Milan.  I have studied with her for over five years.  She structures her sessions according to the priorities of the student.  My interest is more for conversation, so each session is an elaborate conversation in which she notes new words or expressions.  Then, she summarizes the new vocabulary and I review words, quiz myself and write them into sentences.  Eva has a wide range of interests, from books, cinema, travel, and Italian cuisine.  She has interesting insights into Italian life and culture, and is always honest.  It is not a sugar-coated view of Italian life.  I always look forward to the next session.
